Little Heroes Private Kids’ Yoga
Private Kids’ Yoga sessions are for children of all ages (infants, toddlers, preschoolers, elementary age, tweens and teens), providing an easily accessible way to bring yoga to your child while giving specialized attention to those particular areas you and your child designate. Yoga has the capacity to help each and every one of us to be our best and most courageous selves. Little Heroes Yoga brings all the tools your child will need to discover their most healthy, happy and loving bodies and minds.
Each yoga session will be specifically tailored to your child’s unique interests and will provide them with self-regulation tools, relaxation techniques, improved muscular strength and flexibility in a fun and creative atmosphere that they are familiar with, whether it be your home, a local park or another desired location. Little Heroes Yoga comes to you with all the necessary props and essentials to support your child in building a revolutionary practice they can continue to use throughout their lives both on and off the mat.
Private kids’ yoga gives your child a way to spend quality time with a trained yoga teacher so that their specific needs and/or challenges can be met and honored each session. Private sessions are great for any child who needs or desires a positive adult role model to guide them personally through the practice of yoga, meditation, and other mindfulness practices.
Little Heroes Private Kids’ Yoga classes are offered in pre-arranged sessions, which lead to the most optimal use of time and resources for your child. Younger children will learn patience, focus and body awareness in shorter periods of time. Class times are between 45-minutes to 60-minutes, depending on the specific needs of your child. Parents are welcome to join during private classes, as long as they are willing to be big kids with their little ones and share in the adventures.
Private Baby and Me Yoga
Baby and Me classes are designed to bring children along on your journey into yoga. Little Heroes Yoga offers a combination class, allowing children to benefit from movement and breath at very young ages, while strengthening adult bodies and providing quality time together learning the practice of yoga . We’ve found that when families practice together, they build strong relationships with one another that last a lifetime.

Private Toddler Yoga
Toddlers have a unique way of seeing the world. In our private toddler yoga classes, one of our trained teachers will guide your child through movement, breath and a bit of stillness using familiar toys, stories, music and art to make yoga a very playful and experiential learning environment for them to explore how their bodies move and how their minds work.

Private Kids’ Yoga
All children need and want a special amount of time for themselves where they can be attended to, listened to and given undivided attention. This private practice is developed around your child and their unique needs, while always remembering that we are each heroic in our own way and love ourselves as we are both on and off the mat. During each class we embark on a new adventure to discover authentic ways of connecting to our breath, bodies and minds. Private kids’ yoga classes benefit your child by developing mind body connection, increased self-regulation, increased flexibility and muscle tone, as well as developed focus and cultivation of healthy self esteem.

Private Tween Yoga
Some of our tweens can be in a very vulnerable and courageous transition period in their lives at the age of 10-12. Many of them experience body changes as they rapidly become aware of increased peer pressure, social expectations, and inner and outer stressors, which can be difficult to deal with on their own. Our tween private yoga sessions address a tweens changing body and mind by asking them to radically accept who they are, as they are. Private Tween Yoga is a playful time for self expression, imagination and increased resilience to face change with an open heart and mind through the practice of movement, breathing, stillness and much more.

Private Teen Yoga
At Little Heroes Yoga we’ve found that teens need to find a balance between understanding adulthood and the simplicity of still being a big kid. In our teen yoga private classes, teens connect with the space to feel at ease in their bodies and minds, but also find themselves in challenging poses, situations and stillness, which tests their ability to stay calm, even in the face of discomfort. As we travel through various sequences, meditations and breathing techniques teens will become aware of their bodies, connect to their self worth, develop self esteem, and trust in their ability to make brave, intuitive choices throughout their practice and lives on and off the mat.

Semi-Private Group Kids’ Yoga
Semi-private classes are a great way to allow one of our trained Little Heroes Yoga teachers to bring yoga to your child and any group of children that you choose. These classes offer a great community connection for children of all ages. As we practice together and learn how to be in our bodies while surrounded by friends and/or family, we develop strong social skills, self esteem and teamwork. Semi-private classes are arranged so that you are able to practice during pre-arranged classes based on your group’s specific schedule. These are fantastic classes for siblings, athletic teams, neighbors, and/or any other kids who would enjoy practicing in a familiar setting.
